the WEEKLY is my harebrained attempt to redirect a self-soothing shopping habit into something my financial advisor would consider a bit more responsible. Kidding! I don’t have a financial advisor.

But, after years of writing and editing for others, I felt a calling to get a bit more personal. A weekly curation of my favorite finds — often items I’ve lusted over for ages or enjoyed for years — delivered via email with a few notes seemed tame enough.

My hope is that the WEEKLY inspires discovery — of interesting buys and equally interesting places to buy. Wherever possible, I will source goods from small, independently-owned businesses. Of course, you’ll also find more instant gratification goodies, too.
